Renewable energy technology focuses on energy that is replaced as it is being used, such as solar energy and wind energy. Bill and Hillary Clinton supported all forms of this kind of energy. They knew what was happening to our world and fought hard back then to encourage renewable energy uses. They supported Renewable energy technology because they knew it could minimize our effects of global warming, help alleviate financial stress and create a world less depend on fossil fuels.

There is a new energy plan for America … Obama’s administration is probably going to include Dan Reicher, director of climate change and energy initiatives at Google, former assistant energy secretary in charge of efficiency and renewable energy programs in the Clinton administration.

Nearly 30 states, including Florida, are forging plans to boost renewable energy and slash greenhouse gases. Business leaders nationwide have called for a clear, nationwide policy. A political consensus has emerged in Washington that something must be done. Wal-Mart chief executive H. Lee Scott Jr. has vowed that the retailer will eventually be completely supplied by renewable energy.

The International Energy Agency’s (IEA) annual World Energy Outlook, released Nov. 12, 2008 projects that global energy demand will increase by 45% between 2006 and 2030 and that $26 trillion in power-supply investments will be necessary simply to meet those needs. greenhouse gas emissions will rise 45% by 2030, and extreme global warming would be virtually unavoidable.

Ever want to own your own business? Conservation is still a huge, largely untapped market. When you learn how to easily set up wind and solar power energy solution for very cheap … by offering sun and wind energy to others, learning the ins and outs can make you a good living. Alternative energy will grow jobs and business’s in our future … the time is now.

Please support an elected official who supports alternative energy and educate yourself and everyone you know about the advantages of using alternative energy at home. Earth takes care of you, you also need to take care of it. You can support our President, our future and our planet by doing your part.

Of course I support the new energy plan for America … I also support any person who starts doing something on an individual level right now! There are no excuses, there is loads of information to help anyone build home made energy devices like wind turbines or solar panels. home made wind turbines and solar panels are being build and installed by people like you every day.

With today’s energy crisis and rising costs of heating and electricity, educating yourself on how you can save money, get money back into your pocket through government grants, and help do your part learning about the Going Green Facts-Home Made Energy.

The statistics prove that there is non-renewable energy that we consume in our daily lives that can be reversed by a few simple things that can be implemented by consumers with the knowledge of how to utilize what the earth has provided for us with wind, biodegradables and solar power. Below are a few shocking statistics that will open your eyes on what we are taking and not giving back.

US Energy Consumption By Source

Non-Renewable

Petroleum: Used for transportation and manufacturing– 38.1%
Natural Gas: Used for heating, manufacturing and electricity – 22.9%
Coal: Used for electricity and manufacturing ———- 23.2%
Uranium: Used for electricity —————————- 8.1%
Propane: Used for heating and manufacturing ————- 1.7%

Renewable

Biomass: Used for heating, electricity and transportation – 2.9%
Hydro-power: Used for electricity ————————– 2.7%
Geothermal: Used for heating and electricity ————– 0.3%
Wind: Used for electricity ——————————– 0.1%
Solar & other: Used for light, heating and electricity —- 0.1%

So as you can see the numbers are staggering and with a bit of knowledge under your belt, you can save a great deal of money with renewable energy. Wind turbines and solar power are just to name a few. Taking your time to recycle waste products will do Mother Earth good also. A lot of what is recycled will be turned into a product which can be used again and again. Ordinary waste can be converted into renewable energy thanks to our Waste Management companies. Waste Management’s landfill gas-to-energy projects generate enough energy to power 160,000 homes every day. That translates into almost 5 million barrels of oil per year.

With your knowledge of Going Green Facts-Home Made Energy can be made with ease to save you money and put the cashola back into your pocket. For example, did you know that if your purchase a hybrid car, plans for a wind generator or solar panels to build with Obama’s home energy grant program you can be rewarded by the Federal Government by receiving funding to help with their plan on reducing our dependence on fossil fuels? This is one of their top agenda items for 2009. Depending on what you do, there has been reported funding of anywhere from $600-$2000. That’s a lot of ching! You must have a receipt for your purchase of course and apply for grant funding at the home energy grants website.

If you are eligible, you will receive a check in a month or two. You can’t however apply for multiple energy grants. For example, if you own a hybrid car, solar panel and a wind generator you can specify the information in the grant kit if you qualify to receive it. What a way to get some of those hard earned dollars put back into your pocket.

Do your research and find out how you can help convert your home into renewable energy and put money back in your pocket. When you educate yourself on the Going Green Facts-Home Made Energy is where to start. Whether you choose wind, solar, or both will be the best thing you will ever do for the crisis that all of us are faced with on a daily basis.

Home wind power kits are more popular than ever today. People are beginning to realize that the wind is an incredible source of cheap, clean, and renewable energy. A recent study revealed that as many as 15 million homes in this county could benefit from wind power. Imagine the tremendous amount of money that could be saved if these households relied more on home wind power to create their electricity!

Luckily, residential wind power generators are something the average household can actually afford. This is because of the recent boom in do-it-yourself home energy kits that are available online. Everything you need to know to create your own electricity can be downloaded instantly. You can start building your own generator just minutes after purchasing one of these kits on the internet.

It’s actually much easier than you might think. Any handy person can do it. The plans aren’t complicated and home wind power generators don’t need much upkeep if you build them right. It’s actually a fun and rewarding project for the whole family!

The tools and parts are all available at your local hardware store, or Home Depot. How much will it all cost? One kit promises that you can put together a fully functional wind turbine for as little as $100. You can make that back in no time on your electric bills.

You’ll also learn how to create solar panels. These will cost you around $200. Most experts on renewable energy recommend using both solar and wind generators together. If everything’s working properly, the power these two generators can create could make you energy independent. You could live "off the grid," which means you don’t pay for electricity.

Many people don’t realize that if you use renewable energy in your home you can qualify for state and federal tax credits. So not only will you save money on your utility bills, but you’ll actually be paid to create your own electricity. And having the capacity to use renewable energy increases the value of your home. Sounds like a good move financially.

The best part is, the electricity you create with home wind power kits is totally clean. There’s no pollution. And it’s limitless. Compare this to fossil fuels, which are not only finite, but they contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and global warming.

Renewable energy technology is the wave of the future. But you can start riding that wave right now by creating your own electricity with home wind power kits. Your wallet will thank you, your house will thank you, and Mother Nature will thank you.

Solar Energy Is Up – But Wind Power Also Surging

In a recent survey of the alternative energy industry shows Solar has experienced the most rapid economic growth over the past 12 months – but Wind Power is also surging and has the most momentum going forward.

The survey – which focused on industry trends and opportunities – was completed August 4, 2008, and a total of 196 respondents working in alternative energy sectors participated.

Solar Is Up

The solar sector (51%; up 2-pts) has come on strong over the past 12 months according to industry respondents – echoing the findings of our December 2007 survey. However, so has Wind Power (49%; up 14-pts).

Going forward, Solar (56%; down 2-pts) is expected to achieve the most rapid growth for the next 12-24 months, but Wind (41%; up 13-pts) is also showing striking strength going forward.

In addition, the rapid rise of gasoline prices this year has led to significant gains in the Hybrid/Electric Vehicles sector.

Conversely, Biomass has fallen in terms of industry sentiment – due in large part to the impact of rising raw materials costs. One-third (33%) of industry respondents pointed to Biomass as the sector most negatively affected by the high cost of raw materials – with more than half (51%) specifically pointing to ethanol production.

As respondent CO206739 writes, "Corn Ethanol producers have cut back their expansion plans because of the high cost of steel for construction, and the high cost of corn for feedstock. The companies that built facilities years ago have the advantage on capital costs, but they are suffering from high feedstock costs and the uncertainties of market conditions."

Customer Demand for Alternative Energy

The survey also focused on customer demand for alternative energy products, and Hybrid/Electric Vehicles (Net Score = ) are clearly seen as having the biggest demand increase in the next year with Solar ( ) and Wind ( ) products also garnering big jumps in customer interest.

But the most telling findings were when we asked industry respondents to rate the demand for their own company’s alternative energy products and services.

Here’s what we found:

# Upswing in Sales. Business is booming, according to our Alternative Industry respondents – of which an extraordinary 45% see their company’s sales increasing over the next 90 days. In comparison, just 4% see their company’s sales decreasing.

# Capital Budgets Adjusting Higher. In another big positive, 38% project their overall capital budgets will increase over the next 90 days, more than triple the percentage who say it will decrease (11%).

# Inflation Spurring Demand. Better than half (56%) say inflationary pressures in the rest of the economy are causing increased demand for their alternative energy products and services. The vast majority (77%) of these respondents cite the rising price of traditional energy sources as the main reason for the demand growth. As FID04725 writes, "Inflation is putting more pressure on energy prices than it is on the raw material costs for alternative energy technologies. Thus, alternative energy is becoming more affordable relative to conventional energy."

Leading Companies

We also asked industry respondents to tell us which alternative energy companies they believe are at the forefront of their respective market sectors. Here’s what they told us:

Solar Sector: First Solar (FSLR), SunPower (SPWR) Wind Sector: General Electric (GE), Vestas Hybrid/Electric Sector: Tesla Motors, Energy Conversion Devices (ENER)

The takeaway from this Alternative Industry survey is that Solar continues to burn up the charts and the momentum behind Wind Power is now blowing stronger than ever.

Investors take note — in the midst of a severe worsening of the U.S. economy the Alternative Energy sector continues to ride high.

Diy Wind Power – Why This Form Of Renewable Energy?

Want a way to reduce the amount you spend each year on your electricity bill? If so, why not think about getting a DIY wind power system installed at your home if it is viable? By installing this type of renewable energy system at your home you could find yourself cutting your yearly electricity bill by as much as 90 percent.
However, in order for the DIY wind power system to operate at its most effective levels you need to make sure that you get a good supply of wind blowing around your home. It is important that the wind blows consistently and at speeds of not less than 10 miles per hour throughout the day and night.

In fact as you will soon discover when it comes to making electricity from wind power it is much easier than you would have thought possible. However, before you go out and buy such a system it is important that you learn more about how wind can be converted into electricity and below we provide the basics regarding this.
At the top of the DIY wind power pole are rotors which turn as the wind blows against them. It is this turning motion that creates kinetic and motion energy which will be converted into electricity by the turbine attached to the rotors. Once the kinetic and motion energy has been converted then this is what you will use to run different pieces of electrical equipment in your home.

With these systems you have the choice of either going for a battery or grid connected system for your home. Either of which will ensure that your home is being provided with enough energy to run many of the modern pieces of equipment that you have in your home.

For those who live somewhere that wind speeds are fast and constant may find that they can become completely self sufficient and don’t need to rely heavily on their local power grid anymore. If you live in such a location it is still advisable to remain connected to the local power grid in case there are times when the wind speeds do drop below the recommended speed. This way you have a backup supply if needed.
In fact as soon as you begin to notice that the wind speeds have reduced below 10 miles per hour this is a good time when you start using the local power grid. However, as soon as the speeds increase once more remember to revert back to your own wind power system. If not then you could be faced with a very large electricity bill the following month.

When it comes DIY wind power systems you will soon discover after carrying out some more research that this one has advantages over the other kinds. Firstly that this type of system costs a lot less to get up and running. Secondly with this type of system you will find the cost of caring for and maintaining it are considerably less as well.

Find out if windmill power is right for you.

It is exciting to know there is an alternate source of energy that can be used to meet your needs. When considering an alternate energy source such as windmill power, there are several things to consider. Stay open minded, and then decide what’s best for you.

The first thing that might be an appeal of a windmill is lower utility bills. Some wind turbines are designed to harness the kinetic energy in the wind and convert it to electricity. However, small wind turbines may not have batteries and the amount of power generated relies completely on the wind. The point being that if wind is blowing at least seven to ten miles per hour, the wind will serve as the alternate energy source. If not, the wind turbine will have no output and the electricity needed for the home will be purchased through the utility company. In a normal residence, a home is provided power by a local utility company if the wind is weak or non-existent, and by the wind when conditions are better.

On the other hand, if the wind turbine produces more power than the house needs, the extra electricity in some cases is sold to the utility company, or there’s at least a reduction in the home’s utility costs. This can be a nice little bonus that could help pay for the windmill that much faster.

The effects of power production from coal or natural gas generation on the environment might be another consideration for the consumer. Household wind turbines create no pollution when generating electricity. In order to provide electrical services to one home, the utility company generates approximately 1.2 tons of air pollutants which ultimately go into our atmosphere.

Consumers must consider the location of the windmill as well. Obstacles such as buildings, trees, or anything else that could prevent wind getting to the turbine would definitely be a disadvantage, making the cost of the wind turbine harder to justify. However, some companies provide towers high enough to place the wind turbine blades above turbulence and obstacles so you can enjoy alternative energy with much more efficiency and reliability.

Of course, the final consideration is the cost of buying and installing a small wind turbine for the home. Figuring out f it will be an investment and basically pay for itself over time, or end up being a money pit because of things like the possibility of no wind, constant maintenance and upkeep, as well as restrictions, laws, or guidelines about where the windmill can be located and its size, height, etc. This could be a big knock against the idea of purchasing a wind turbine.

It would definitely be in your best interest when considering the purchase of a small windmill for the home to check with manufacturers or companies that sell windmills, and learn as much about them as possible. Understanding the concepts of wind turbines can only benefit you in your decision about whether or not to get a wind turbine. Whether you opt for a windmill as an alternative energy source, or look elsewhere, knowing what they can do, and familiarizing yourself with them makes this decision a whole lot easier.

The electricity produced from wind generation of power has quadrupled over the past six years. According to the latest research, over 15 million American homes are located in areas that are ideal for wind power. The potential amount of money that could be saved on utility bills is staggering.

Fortunately, wind turbines are affordable to the average family nowadays, thanks to do-it-yourself kits that are accessible on the Internet. All the information you need can be downloaded immediately. You can literally start building your own wind power generator within minutes after purchasing a kit online.

Building your own wind turbine is actually a lot easier, and cheaper, than it sounds. Anyone can do it. These generators are fairly basic and don’t need a lot of maintenance if you make them correctly. Plus, creating your own electricity can be fun and very rewarding.

All the parts and tools you need can be found at your local hardware store or Home Depot. Amazingly, you can create wind generation of power for as little as $100. You’ll recoup that amount very quickly due to the savings on your utility bills.

These kits also show you how to build your own solar panels for as little as $200. It’s a great idea to have both solar and wind power generators operating at the same time. The combined electricity produced by these generators can make you totally energy independent! Imagine not having to pay an electric bill ever again!

Plus, you’ll qualify for state and federal tax credits which are available to people who use renewable sources of energy. When you add together all the money you’ll save on utility bills with the tax credits, you’ll see that creating your own electricity is a smart move financially.

Best of all, the electricity produced by solar and wind power generators doesn’t create any pollution–and it’s limitless. The wind and sunshine are resources that Mother Nature can easily replace, unlike fossil fuels, which also add to greenhouse gas emissions and global warming.

The experts agree that renewable energy technology is the next great global industry. But you don’t need to wait. You can start creating your own sun and wind generation of power right now. By acting today, you’ll be creating a better tomorrow.

Are thinking about launching a personal wind power generator into the sky? Before you do, here are a few modest, and some not so modest tips to get you ready for lift off. This is an article you don’t want to miss because it covers getting cheap parts and the traits you should have to raise your chances of success.

A personal wind power generator you can build without spending more than 150$ very possible if you take the right steps. The first step is finding wind power generator plans that fit accommodate that ideal price range and your skill. It’s absolutely necessary to find plans you can easily understand.

Without plans aimed specifically at a personal wind power generator for cheap, you won’t get the inside information on where to get the highest quality parts for the lowest possible price. You might find a tip here and there and that tip might help you save a lot of money, but plans based on teaching you to build a personal wind power generator for cheap will save you a lot more.

This leads me to the next tip which is being able to spend money to save money. While having to pay for high quality plans is unpalatable, not paying for them and losing out on money saving tips is more so. For example, one of these tips allows you to get the body of your personal wind power generator for dirt cheap or free! (And in this case dirt cheap CAN equal high quality)

It’s a good idea to join a personal wind power generator internet forum of some kind when you start building. This can be a very helpful tool if you have any queries. Even the best plans will have something left out, and besides, you can get some more tips and information from these groups.

You raise your odds of success if you take decisive actions to get good plans, follow through with them, and have an extra source to help guide you along.

Start off on the right foot with plans aimed at a super low budget and simplicity. These are easy to follow with helpful designs and wonderful money saving tips. Last I checked they were on sale and being raved about. Learn more about cheap personal wind power generators

Wind isproduced from the uneven heating of the atmosphere and irregularities in the earth’s surface. The air movement between these areas is what we refer to as wind. Just as we can use flowing water to turn turbines, we can harness the power of the wind with wind turbines to create electricity.

Wind turbines have been in use since the 1920s. Their earliest use was to provide electricity in remote areas that didn’t have access to a large utility company. Today there are fewer areas that are "off the grid" but wind power can now be used to supplement traditional power sources.

Wind turbines can be used individually to provide power for a household, or they can be used in arrays to provide electricity on a large scale. These arrays of industrial sized turbines are called "wind farms" and are usually situated in areas that receive consistent strong winds. Coastal areas, hilltops, and mountain passes are common areas for wind farms.

Thanks to advances in wind turbine technology we are now able to use the wind as an affordable alternative to fossil fuel for producing power. New technologies make turbines more efficient and modern production techniques bring the cost of turbines down.

When used as a supplement for residential electricity, wind turbines are connected to the breaker box provided by the power company. The power produced is available for immediate consumption, and if the wind turbine produces more electricity than is needed the excess is fed back into the utility grid for a credit on the homeowners power bill.

For those interested in living "off the grid" wind power can be used in conjunction with other alternative energy sources such as solar power. These two methods of producing electricity complement each other, when the sun is strong, the wind may be low, and the wind may be stronger on cloudy days.

Also, since solar power is not produced at night, a wind turbine can provide the electricity at this time.
